Kick-starting hydrogen energy projects in Turkey
Because of its natural resources and thanks to the political will which has allowed the foundation of the International Centre for Hydrogen Energy Technologies on its territory, Turkey now has the chance to gain valuable expertise and know-how, and thus to become a technology exporting country instead of a technology importing one. ICHET thus aims to encourage representatives of Turkish industry to invest on hydrogen energy technologies through conferences, seminars and meetings. To help face this challenge, the Centre takes part in the formation of consortia and can now (directly or indirectly) provide
funding. Indeed, a number of Turkish companies have already been attracted by the benefits to be gained by exploiting hydrogen energy.
