Bridging the R&D gap between countries
The Centre is helping to bridge the gaps between hydrogen energy related R&D activities in developed and developing countries, thus establishing a network of hydrogen energy collaborators involving universities and research centres throughout the world and engage in research projects, workshops, conferences and exchange programmes. The Centre also performs system and public studies, including techno-economic analyses. A major goal of this activity is to establish agreements with reputable institutions in the developed countries, and involve them in personnel exchange, training and collaborative research with students and researchers in the developing countries. The Centre’s purpose is to lead, solicit and support international applied R&D projects involving hydrogen energy technologies, as well as to solicit and support R&D competition among universities and research organizations at national and international levels.
