Towards a hydrogen-inclusive economy
After a preliminary phase of internationally conducted feasibility studies, the International Centre for Hydrogen Energy Technologies is currently focusing on the support and coordination of selected
hydrogen energy projects in Turkey and
throughout the world. These pilot projects are to demonstrate multiple implementations of the hydrogen energy system through various hydrogen pathways, storage methods, distribution circuits, conversion technologies and applications. UNIDO-ICHET is also directing efforts toward the finding of new technologies and the upgrading of existing ones through its participation to
R&D programmes. Finally, in accordance with its information mission, the Centre maintains a comprehensive
hydrogen energy database, organizes
conferences and workshops and, in its next stage as an
international campus, will be hosting and training scientists and engineers from all over the world.
